The Island Pilot IP485 fills the void between our successful IP435 and the newer IP535. Sized just right for family cruising, she expands from both her older sisters.
Accommodations: She has 3 staterooms (2 doubles and a convertible study) and 2 full heads below, each with a stall shower. The study can be customized to become a part of the master, fitted with bunks or a desk and settee/berth.
Galley: The UP-Galley is a couple steps down from the deck house in a bright open area under the windscreen. The cook is always a part of the social scene with easy eye contact to both the helm chairs and the settees.
Deck House: The saloon has both an L-settee plus full-length one with seating for a party! The high-low helm chairs spin around to join the social scene. The TV hides away on a power lift in the aft face of the galley - once raised, it swivels to give everyone a great view. The helm has all the electronics easily reached plus a sliding door to the starboard deck.
Aft Cockpit: The roomy cockpit borrows from the user-friendly one on the IP535 with the same U-settee aft, L-stairs to the bridge and engine room entry door to starboard.
Fly Bridge: The Fly Bridge is a slightly scaled-down version of the IP535, complete with boat deck and crane aft, radar arch, U-settee with table and 3 helm chairs.
Power Packages: The IP485 is available with a variety of Pod-Drives - the Volvo Penta IPS I 600s (same as IP435), Cummins/Zeus and other diesels matched with ZF pods. All the features available with Pods will be standard, including GPS positioning and 3 joystick docking stations.
Pricing: The IP485, fully equipped, is $895,500. Call for “Introductory Pricing.”
